Caroline Tucker is the founder and President of The Schatz Group.
Her educational background consists of two Bachelors degrees (one in Aerospace Engineering and one in Applied Mathematics) and she holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. Her professional career began at Douglas Aircraft in Systems Engineering. She continued her career at AlliedSignal Aerospace in New Business Development. Her career in licensing began in 1997 when she was given the responsibility of extracting value from AlliedSignal Aerospace's patent portfolio. Becoming so enthusiastic about the potential of this new venture, she has since focused her energies and skills in licencing. At the request of clients, Caroline not only built their licensing business units, but also assisted with new market development and government affairs. Caroline found that the same skills that made her successful at technical sales, also made her very successful at licensing, market identification and penetration and government realtions.
Since founding The Schatz Group, Caroline has managed the portfolios of a variety of Fortune 500 companies and agencies including, Rockwell, Deloitte & Touche, Litton Industries, Avery Dennison, International Paper, Raytheon, St. Jude Medical Systems, Capstone Turbine Corporation, Aerospace Corporation, Johns Hopkins University, NASA, the University of Southern California, University of Vermont and others.
